The establishment of a language learning laboratory is a major achievement of the department. It is well equipped, inter-connected and monitored simultaneously by the trainer. Its primary purpose is to ensure that scholars at the instructions of the teacher may enhance the educational skills associated with class room based learning activities, viz. shared experiences, teamwork and interaction with one’s pear.

The Lab also facilitates inter-active sessions with the objective to develop the speaking and listening skills. It provides an exposure to accurate pronunciation and super segmental features of English language, that is stress, accent and pause. These activities also include listening to conversation in different situations, grammar drills and vocabulary building exercises. Personality Development classes are held in the Language Laboratory which improve the following soft skills of the students.

These skills are the tools that enable the students to face the challenges in their career and the profession.

Well equipped lab with sophisticated apparatus like Spectrophotometer and Digital PH meter. The most of the faculties have a number of publications in National and International Journals and have done national training programmes/ Seminars /Conferences. The department has a number of well-known and famous faculty members to strengthen the academic ambience with their diverse and rich experience.

A well equipped lab with standardized apparatus i.e. Spectrometer, Polarimeter, Fresnel’s Bi-prism, Ballistic Constant, Nodal Slide, Newton’s Ring etc. (In dark’s room lab.- experiments), Hall effect assembly, Potentiometer, Four Probe method, B-H Curve, Stefan’s Law, Stewart Gee’s, Carey- Foster’s Bridge etc.(In general lab-experiments). Most of the faculties have done national training programmes / Seminars / Conferences.
